Hi!
I used Microsoft windows Xp proffessional in my computer.
It has four partitions of which three are ntfs(c:, D:, f:)
and one is in Fat32(E:).I encrypted some files in C: and
D: and due to some reaso which i cannot possibly
comprehend; Explorer.exe stopped functioning in my computer
(No relation with the encryption done) so i had to repair
my installation but as at that time the windows xp
proffessional cd was unavailable with me i used the
recovery console of win xp home. the result was that i
could not do it and i had to install win home xp in c: but
using a different folder called windowsh. after this
installation took place i encountered problems in opening
the encrypted files. now i tried to upgrade winxp home to
professional but that too didnt happen.
Please tell me a way of recovering these encrypted files.
(I deleted the windows folder of the earlier winxp
professional operating system but the user documents and
settings remain intact)

Perhaps you will receive some miracle answer here, but my take, after
reading your situation, is:

No. The file contents are lost to you.

Sorry. =(
