Unable to recognize USB Energizer UPS

When I plug my Energizer UPS into the USB port on my
Laptop the New Hardware Found Wizard reports the
following error. The installation failed because the
function driver was not specified for this device
instance. When I plug it into my desktop computer. It is
recognized as a HID, Gameport and USB to RS232 device.
Can somebody tell me how to make this work on my laptop?
There are no inf files available from the manufacturer.

This is only the FileSaver software. Unfortunately it doesn't update Windows
2000 to recognoze the UPS.
