unable to reboot after failed savce reinstallation

Hello:

I reformatted my server's hard drive and SAVCE did not
work. Tried to uninstall SAV on control panel but not
successful. Used Symantec's manual uninstallation
procedures for v8.1. Attempted to reinstall SAV but was
unsuccessful again.

Now I cannot reboot my server. I can't even log off the
administrator account. Please advise.

Sounds typical for the symantec products I have used in the past. I can't
remember installing a Symantec product that didn't cause some sort of OS
disruption or blue screen stop. Since their tech support is now next to
worthless you're probably left with starting a new install and hope it
doesn't happen again.
