Unable to add a local printer on a remote machine as a
network printer on windows 200 server.

Remote machine is not part of the domain. I do not want
to use Direct jet and assigning an ip to that printer.

please advise

What happens when you try? Are you getting a particular error message?

If you are attempting to remotely create a Local Port that targets another
Windows 2000 machine ( \\servername\sharename ), you will need to enable
delegation. I think delegation has to be done within the trusted domain.
