Problem: Recently while I connect my ISP via dialup
connection, I am getting successful connection but unable
to ping any server.

Details:
Dialup connection is successfully established. The login
in terminal window and subsequent authentication is
successful. My computer shows a successful connection.

My computer has Windows 2000 professional OS. TCP/IP is
configured as server provides IP address and server
provides DNS address.

Dialup connection details
status : ok.
client IP address : 219.65.180.150
server IP address : 202.54.76.75
ipconfig details
PPP Adapter VSNL Connect
Connection Specific DNS suffix:
Description: WAN(PPP/SLIP) Interface
Physical Address: 00-53-45-00-00-00
DHCP enabled: No
IP Address: 219.65.180.150
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway: 219.65.180.150
DNS Servers: 202.54.9.23, 202.54.9.25

This means my computer is getting server & DNS addresses
properly. But when I try to ping any servers say the
server I am connected to (202.54.76.75) or DNS server
(202.54.9.25), ping fails. Hence I am unable to open any
internet site.
Only when I am pinging the local machine (219.65.180.150)
it is successful.

Please advice solution so that I can get on the internet.

Thanks & Regards
