I receive this message when trying to setup email on a new
Dell with XP Pro installed. The email account setup ok but
when it try to connect to the email server with my same
email account I receive this message " Unable to open
your default email folder. you do not have permission to
log on." How can I fix this problem?

Hi - this isn't a WinXP issue. What e-mail program are you using, and are
you using an Exchange server? Best to post Outlook questions in
microsoft.public.outlook and provide more detail (version of Outlook,
whether your computer belongs to the domain & you're logging in with your
domain account, etc).
