I recently installed the Office 2000 package on my pc. I currently use
Outlook express, but I want to use outlook for my personal emails. When I
open Outlook, the following error apears:
__________________________
Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Outlook could not start because
a location to send and receive mail could not be found. To add a location,
such as a personal folder file, double-click the mail icon in Windows Control
Panel.

I tried that, but I don't know how to creat the folder.

PLEASE HELP

What options do you get when you go into Control Panel | Mail?

There is three tabs on the MS Exchange Settings Properties:

-Services
-Delivery
-Addressing

On the Services Tab, I created a new service, but that didn't work...

Are you planning to connect to an Exchange server? If not, you have
configured Outlook 2000 in the wrong mode -- Corporate/Workgroup instead of
Internet Mail Only. You'll need to reinstall it and choose IMO mode instead.
More information on the two different modes (which are only present in
Outlook 98 and Outlook 2000) can be found at
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/choosingmode.htm.
