Unable to open .ppt

I just copied a file from floppy disk to hard drive and
tried to open my document. I am now getting an error
saying "Power Point can't open __doc location___.ppt
because part of the file is missing." However, when I go
into open files in Power Point, the image that I have on
the first page of the presentation shows.

Is there anyway that I can retrieve this document? I am
using Power Point 97, Windows 98 Second Edition.
