the outlook and getting the error message as unable to open the personnel

Hi Ramesh,
Do a search (Start, File Find) for Scanpst.exe. Open that by doubleclicking
on it and follow the instructions to scan your PST file. You'll need to know
the location of that file. Hopefully this will repair it, but if it's
corrupted there is no guarantee. There's a reason that the PST file is
limited to a specific size. Good luck.

Hi:

Sometime ago I got that problem, the safetiest way to prevent damage to
your pst is making a new pst file, then put that pst as the default delivery
mail, and it prevents to overload that pst file, now when you enter to your
outlook it will be slow and that's "normal", once that you enter to your old
pst of 2 gb, try to move some mails to the new one, and that will make your
outlook faster to a normal speed, tip, don't move more than 4 mails at same
time because it crashes Outlook and it may damage all your active pst, so
good look...

The absolute upper limit on a .PST in Outlook 2002 and earlier is 2GB and
most users start having problems upwards of 1GB. Look here for the
information you need to hopefully recover at least some of your data:
