Unable to open Outlook 2007 - fine yesterday

I'm on Vista OS - Loaded Office Professional 2007 a week or so ago.
Outlook has been working fine - opening, pulling in my Web mail.
Yesterday I filled in calendar, contacts, to do's, created folders - worked
just fine.
Today I went to open (select from Start - Icon or Program list) and it looks
like it trying to open, but then just stops and doesn't open.
Please help! I don't want to lose all my work from yesterday by reinstalling.

Check task manager to see if you have any instances of outlook.exe running in the background. Kill any you find and try opening Outlook again.
