unable to open old microsoft word documents with Office 2003

Hi Bob-

How old... more specifically, created by what version of Word on which
platform? Are you trying to open them from floppies or CDs (don't, by the
way)?

Additional info will help others help you. After all, this is _just_ a
newsgroup, not the Psychic Friends Network :)
