Unable to open documents in my user profile

My wife is able to open docs no problem in her user profile but when I try to
open docs in my profile I get a dialogue box that says I need to install
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium. "Insert the Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1
Premium disk and click OK."

This is perplexing since Office is already installed on the PC. I checked
our user profiles and both are setup as Admin. I'm not sure what the problem
is and could use some assistance.
