Unable to open default e-mail

I have recently changed internet providers and was planning on useing outlook
express 2003 for my e-mail. When I try to open it I get a message: Unable to
open your default e-mail Folders. The file C:\Documents and
Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.nst
is not an offline folder file. I tried to get to this file but I am unable
to. I am also on line when I try to open Outlook. Any ideas??

There is no such program. Outlook Express' most recent version is V6. It
is the Office program Outlook currently named Outlook 2003.
When I try to open it I get a
message: Unable to open your default e-mail Folders. The file
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.nst is not an offline folder file. I
tried to get to this file but I am unable to. I am also on line when
I try to open Outlook.

There are no files associated with Outlook whose file type is ".nst". The
two file types you should expect to see are ".pst" (Personal Folders) and
".ost" (Offline Folders). The latter is used in an Exchange environment.
What type of account have you defined?
