Unable to login to child domain using GlobalAdmins (Enterprise Adm

Hi,

I am having a Primary DC in one location using Win2000 adv server, after
that in a remote location i had created a child domain using win2000 server.
at that time i am successful in creating a child domain, and in logging into
the servers using global admin rights, now i am unable to login to this
machine using global admins id's, i need to login in the child domain as an
admin of that child domain, when i checked the domain trusts - everything is
fine, i checked the administrators list in the child domain , i can see the
enterprise admins group, now when i tried to add another group or any of the
resources from the parent domain, gives the message unable to locate the
Parent domain,

It would be great if i had some good suggestions.

Hello.

Have a look at the event viewer at DCs in both domains if you found anything
related.

This sounds like a possible DNS issue, I would start there.
