Unable to Launch Powerpoint Attachment from Windows Mail

I'm unable to lauch powerpoint attachments from Windows Mail. I have to
detach and then launch. Got an error message about needing to set
association. Looked on communities and followed advise to change regedit.exe
from 'Show' to 'Open' in the appropriate place.

Now I don't get the error message about 'not association', but nothing
happens at all when I try to launch. All I've succeeding in doing is getting
rid of the error message.

Any ideas on how to resolve?
