unable to install updates

After udates are automaticly down loaded from"
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5consumer/default.a
spx?ln=en-" I receive
message over icon in bottom tray to install I click icon
install starts ,then I receive a window that
says "updates were unable to be successfully
installed" below this in same window "the following
updates were not installed " It then lists 41 updates
that were nt installed!

Now when I go back to windows updates an try to
redownload up dates get "following, Windows Update has
encountered an error and cannot display the requested
