Unable to install updates

Can someone help me. I cannot install Windows updates. When I click on
install the updates try to install and then I get the error message that
the updates cannot be installed. Has anyone else had this problem and, if
so, can you give me advice on how to solve it. Thanks, Ray Holt

Hi Melvin, the security updates for patch Tuesday is not ready yet for one.
Not expected for release til about 11 am PDT. So you still have about and 2
1/2 hrs to go. Also with microsoft update it's a server problem as too many
people are trying to access the update for the patches and more. Just give
it another shot if you required updates. Just today's patches are not
released yet.

The contents of your DataStore folder may be the problem.

1. Delete the contents of the DataStore folder.
2. Click Start.
3. Choose Run.
4. In the Run box, type: %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
5. Click OK.
6. Open the DataStore folder.
7. Delete all contents of the DataStore folder.
8. Close the window.
9. Reboot and revisit the Windows Update web site.

I tried that Carey, but it did not work! I believe like other's it is a
server problem.

We've tried the fix here and we show a total of (0) updates. Must be
something wrong with the servers. Any ETA on when they will be back?
