Unable to Install Software

I am trying to install Eudora Internet Suite, and the install is an
EXE InstallShield package. Starting the installation, launches the
NTVDM, WOWEXEC.EXE, and the setup.exe child process, but then the
install hangs there. I have full admin rights, and I've tried the
install on other XP Pro machines where it goes off without a hitch.

Can anyone shed any light as to why it might hang on my machine?

Hi,

I ask the question here because I don't think it's a problem with the
software. I was able to install the software on other XP machines OK.
I was just wondering if there might be something with my XP that makes
the install hang.

hi..
try to unload background apps before installing.
start the "msconfig" utility and uncheck unknown apps.
try to run "ad-aware" software or "hijackthis"
