Unable to install McAfee VirusScan Enterprise

When I tried to install McAfee VirusScan Enterprise V7.1, it can't smoothly install. Instead an error message prompt stating "Error 1920. Service McShield (McShield) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient prvileges to start system services". The pc is configured to be the administrator but yet this prompts. Fyi too, the userid is a joined domain with the company domain and the userid to not the administrator of the server group. Is there anyway that this can be solved?

I have to think you have a previous virus software installed and in some way it is
interfering with your current install. Norton has this error on its site, however
McAfee does not.
