Unable to get POP3 Emails when run from different PC.

Set Up on both PCs is like following:

On the Tools menu, click E-mail accounts.
Select View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
Under Name, select the POP3 account you want to change, and then click
Change.
Click More Settings.
Click the Advanced tab, and then under Delivery, select the Leave a
copy of messages on the server check box.
Automatically remove messages from my e-mail server after 10 days, when
delete the item on my computer, or when the Deleted Items folder is
emptied

But only one PC can receive email when I send to POP3 mail account.

One PC also has Exchange server account, but the POP3 one is the
Default Account.
The other only has POP3 account, and can not receive emails at all.

Can any one help to solve the myth?

What happens when you try? What versions of Outlook?

I'll ask again: what happens when you try?

Email was sent out successfully, One PC with POP3 and Exchange Account
on OUTLOOK, can receive all the emails, another one, with only POP3
account can not receive emails.

Unless you set the Server settings in BOTH instances of Outlook to keep a
copy of the messages on the server, then if you download the POP mail on
one machine, then of course the other machine won't get the mails, as they
have been deleted from the server by the first machine.

What happens when you try? Any errors? Have you enabled diagnostic logging
to see if anything shows up there?

I am having a similar (or the same) problem: I have a laptop and a desktop.
Both set to "leave messages on server" until "deleted from Deleted Items
folder." Only one computer gets messages. If I set send/receive on laptop to
1 minute, it gets the messages first and the desktop does NOT. If desktop set
to 1 minute, it gets them and laptop does NOT. Messages are indeed left on
the server though; they show up in the webmail interface. Any advice? This is
Outlook 2003, and I have tried disabling the "leave messages one server" on
each computer separately, and creating new profile....

I have seen one case where an ISP's POP server would not tell a client about
a message if it had been marked as processed on the server, even though the
client itself had never seen it. However, I'd be surprised if that's the
case. I can't think of any situation that would exhibit the symptoms you're
seeing. Perhaps someone else will have an idea. One last thing you can try
is to enable diagnostic logging to see what's happening between the client
and server.

Well, the emails I am having a problem with are all just GMail ones. I don't
know if that changes the situation or provides me with any better
options/answers as to what's going on...

Not sure if this will help the original poster (or anyone else, for
that matter), but I figured out MY problem: GMail doesn't allow
multiple POP access, and I quote: "All messages may be downloaded to
another computer once; after downloading mail, it will not download
again." For further info, see
<http://groups.google.sh/group/Gmail...hread/21ae29f853819b87/bc4819a33811fedf?hl=en>

So, gmail's server DOES keep track of what has been downloaded. VERY
non-standard.
