Unable to get attachments

When I have an attachment sent from a user who is using
Lotus Notes Outlook, the message comes but the attachment
is stopped and says OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachments. These are just basic word documents,
it looks like they may have been filed somewhere on the
computer as a message in the text section says something
about see attached file, but I can't find it anywhere.
Any suggestions

Tools-> Options-> tab Security-> option Do not allow attachments...

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.
