Unable to establish PPP

Hello,

I am trying to dial from a W2K server-A to another W2K
server-B to establish dialup connectivity. Server-B is
configured with RRAS. The error I am receiving is "Error
930: The authentication server did not respond to
authentication requests in a timely fashion".

I have looked into the Knowledge Base but none of the
articles are of any help that discuss about Error 930:

Any suggestions, please?

What is the information that the event logs give?

Article 227747 helped in resolving this issue. I had to
enable my RAS W2K server account in the Domain Controller
server as a member of RAS and IAS security group.

Firstly, the error message was not clear. It says that
authentication server did not respond in a timely
fashion...blah..blah...If the W2K system is intelligent
enough, it should say something like "Make your server a
memeber of RAS and IAS Security group from the domain
controller".
