Unable to empty trash folder

Chuck

get "messaging interface has returned unknown error" when
using 'empty trash' option. Folder is growing very
large - how do I empty the trash?

Run scanpst.exe against your pst-file and see if it comes up with anything.

Set Outlook to empty your trash on exit and not prompt.
Tools->options->Other->Advanced.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
