Unable to Edit Table Content

I have just upgraded from FrontPage 2002 to FrontPage 2003. I have a web
page that I update monthly that contains a table. Now that I have upgraded,
the option to edit the table content is disabled - my cursor is one of those
circles with a strike-through. Why is this happening? Thanks.

Right-click on the table, go to table properties and check the settings for
the table. I believe there are some related to table content.

Can you change the border size (for example)? In the properties box?

The only time I've seen that "prohibited" symbol in FP is if you've used a
dynamic web template, and in the page it is attached to you hover over the
non-editable region....

I can't visualise the problem you're having, unless you're trying to edit
the table with FP in "preview" mode or something....? But that doesn't
bring up the "prohibit" symbol anyway.

I'm having the same problem. I created my site in older FP. All my info is
in tables, now I can't edit. What do we do?

You are using a DWT and have not made the main content area of the page an editable region
The only editable region of the page you have set is the right nav bar
Normally it should be the opposite
- page content editable region, nav bar not an editable region

What did you do to correct the issue?

I am experiencing the same problem of not being able to edit certain areas
of a web page now that I've upgraded to FP 2003. I wasn't experiencing this
issue when I was using FP XP.

Thanks,
Jason

To Virtualdjs's comment that he figured out how to edit a previously
uneditable region.

Just a little background re: my issue:
I recently upgraded from Frontpage 2000 to Frontpage 2003. Now, when I open
a file (web page) to edit, certain areas of the file cannot be edited. When I
hover over these areas, the arrow remains and includes a small circle with a
line though it just below the arrow. Any thoughts on how to change these
uneditable areas to editable ones?

Thanks,
Jason

The are either
Non editable regions of a DWT
(edit the DWT and reapply it)
Or more likely
Shared Borders or Include pages
(right click the include page area and select Open included page)

PS
If using shared borders make sure they are turned on in Tools Page Authoring - Design Time Components
