I have a user running XP SP2, which only has one user account, his own
which is a computer administrator. He's trying to install a new VP
client which requires the ability to edit the registry and he i
unsuccessful. If he runs regedit, the Modify option is grayed out fo
him. I'm not sure what to even check to get this working, so an
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :

This may help some. There is a program, "Editreg.reg". It will allo
you to merge or not to merge a file into your registry, after yo
evaluate it. I have the file now and it is OK. My only concern is afte
you want to stop using it,I don't know how to get it out... GGlynn
