Unable to dual boot with MS Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 8000

I have a MS Wireless Entertaainment Keyboard 8000 and I dual boot with XP and
Vista. At least I used to. However when I boot up and the options come up on
the DOS screen I am unable to select the second options down because the
arrows keys do not work on this keyboard at bootup. I cannot select the
second option down. This is terrible for such an expensive keyboard. It
worked fine on my old $15 keyboard!!!
What can be done. I have tried the main arrows at lower right and the arrows
on keyboard main. Nothing works. Help please.

You probably do not have the BIOS setting "Use USB legacy.." or "Use
USB keyboard / mouse.." options set.

Thank you for your help,
I have now enabled 'Use USB legacy keyboard and mouse' but to no avail.
The strange thing is that I could get into the BIOS settings OK and navigate
using the new keyboard. However still no luck when I try to select Vista in
my dual boot list. It seems I will have to keep my old keyboard handy to do
the trick.
Once again thanks

I have fixed my problem simply by removing the transceirver from the
docking/charging station and plugging it into a USB port on the side of my
PC. I read in another post where someone was having a similar prob getting
into the BIOS settings and that is what they did. GREAT.

Docking station??? I do not believe that your ever mentioned that
your were / are using a docking station. Then, yes of course, the
docking station is the cause of the problem.
