Unable to Download Templates

I have been able to download templates for Word and Excel documents.
Currently, when I try to download the templates, I receive the error message:
The template cannot be downloaded at this time because of a problem on a
Microsoft Office Online server. Please try again later." How can this
problem be corrected?

If the problem is on the server then there is nothing you can do on your end
but is a recurring problem for you then try the following

Empty your Temporary Internet Files cache
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Delete Files.
