Unable to Display the Folder

When trying to open the inbox the right pane is all gray
with the words "unable to display the folder". Please
help!
 
What version of Outlook? Are you clicking on the Inbox folder in the Folder
List, or are you clicking on a shortcut to the Inbox folder?
