Unable to display gzip encoded file after installing a recent IE6 update

Whenever I browse a HTML file that is encoded with gzip
(gz), IE refuses to load the file, and it always dump the
content into Notepad.

This happens after I installed the latest Internet
Explorer update from Windows Update, and my URLMON.DLL is
dated 10/17/2003. I use Windows XP at home.

Anyone experience similar problems?
 
Post on this news group also.

Windows Update personnel will be monitoring the
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
newsgroup for issues.
