Unable to detect modem.

I recently installed windows Xp Proffecianl on a new
computer.The system does not detect my modem. Intalation
of modem correct. Port com1 is working properly. The modem
works on my old Pc windows 98.

Hello,

Check the Windows Catalog to see if Win XP can use the
modem. There are many pieces of software and hardware
that isn't compatible with Win XP.
