unable to delete parent-child trust in domain trust

Hi everybody,

i have an active directory domain casket.com. Now earlier i created a
child domain child.casket.com and also created a parent-child trust (Which
by the way, is implicit). Now the child domain is no longer existent and i
want to delete the child domain's data from my parent directory. however, i
am unable to delete the trust. The remove button is disabled in the domain
and Trust console. how do i delete the trust . Please help?

this does not have to do with Microsoft Access

I think that you can go in 'Active Directory Sites and Services'
though and I know it's present in one of those control panel applets;
isnt' it?

or can't you delete the organizational unit for the child domain under
one of those three applets?

(domains and trusts, sites and services, users and computers)

hope that helps; i don't know what group to ask under; maybe
microsoft.public.windows2000.activedirectory ??
