unable to delete old info and create new document

I recently copied and pasted information from a web site
to a word document. After saving the document I am now
unable to open a new document with out the old information
appearing.I have tried deleting any document named as the
file name I gave the document. I have ran virus checker. I
uninstalled and reinstalled offic all to no avail. Any
suggestions?

Since you obviously don't want to read and use the great information
contained on this web site that was provided to you last time you posted
this question:

try the following (assuming you have no customizations like macros or
toolbars that you created):

1. Close out all open programs
2. Open Windows Explorer
3. Do a file search for the following - "normal.dot"
4. When it is found, select it and delete it.
5. Close Windows Explorer
6. Open Word - YOU'RE FIXED!
