Unable to delete in outlook 2003

I looked at a machine and the person had setup a personal folder by accident
and had email going in there. I closed the personal folder and moved the
email to the inbox. now she can't delete email, she must drag it to the
trash. Ideas?

If this were happening to me, I'd create a new mail profile.

OK, dumb questions as I don't use outlook much. I know how to back up teh
contents of her mail box so thats not an issue, but how do I create a new
profile?

After creating the new profile, can I still go back and open the old one if
necessary?
