Unable to delete History in IE 6

J

James

I know how to delete History in IE 6. I can delete "Today" items, but
no matter what I do, I cannot get it to delete "Items visited today."

Just to make myself clear on what I do, I click Tools, Internet Options,
General, and Clear History.

Any ideas on what else I can do ??

Remember, I can delete on items appearing in Today, but when I click
Items Visited Today, the items still appear there.

Any ideas please ??

See:

See if this helps:

Try also...
CCleaner (freeware), from http://www.ccleaner.com/

P: "Be very very VERY careful with CCleaner. We are seeing a lot of problems
with that software removing hotfix data making it impossible to uninstall
IE7 and any other hotfix/update."

And...
Free History Eraser (deletes also index.dat files):

The History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Then set your IE cache (TIF folder size) at about 50/60 mb.
