unable to delete a file

I loaded a dvd coping program (1click dvd) and started to burn a movie
but was unable to burn it to disk because my disk was to small. After this
happened I deleted the iso file and because it was so big I decided to defrag
my drive. After the defrag ended my defrag message let me know that 1.1G of
space was not able to be defrag.
The 1click dvd and iso file is the one file that could not be defraged.
When I tried to delete 1clcik dvd I get:

Cannot delete 1click dvd:
access denied
make sure the disk is not full or write protected and it is not currently in
use.

I tried to delete the file from the run menu and i get the same message. So
I tried shutting everything off from the start menu (msconfig) and then
tried to delete and got the same message.

THEN... I figured i'll just use system restore and restore to a previous
point. NOW the computer wont restore to any previous point...

I running nortons 2004 with current upgrades so I dont have any viruses and
my computer is operating fine it's just I cant get back the 1.1g of drive
space..

Turn off the 'recording' option and restart to turn it back on. (Rightclick
the drive icon, Properties)

The icon you want is in Explorer. What you are rightclicking has the
properties of a 'shortcut'

If you use Norton Protected Recycle Bin right click the recycle bin and
empty the Norton proteced files.
