Unable to Create WTS Connection

Dave Corwith

Dear Newsgroup:
I am trying to create a new connection on W2K server to
the WTS. I ran the wizard however when I get to the
Network Adapter page I receive the error:
"The new connection must have a unique connection type,
transport type or network adapter."
I have a simple W2K server connected to a 16port hub. I
have two NIC in the server however I am currently only
using one NIC. Is there something else I need to
configure before using WTS?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave Corwith

Dave,

If you are trying to create a connection for each NIC, you
will first need to configure the existing connection to
use a dedicated NIC (it defaults to "All network
adapters..."). Then you need to configure the second NIC
(enable it, assign IP address, etc.). Then you should be
able to create your new RDP connection using the second
NIC, making sure you assign a unique name for the
connection.
