I have recently installed FP 2003 under XP but I am
unable to get it working properly.
If I try to create a new empty I get "The Web server
at "http://FLATPC" does not appear to have Windows
Sharepoint Services installed".

Seems something wrong with my setup!

Any ideas?

Ray

You can only create server based webs (http) locally, if you have installed and applied the FP Server Extensions under IIS in Win XP
Pro (not available on Win XP Home)

To create a disc based web use File New Site and enter a top level folder name for the location
- like C:\MyWeb

Stefan,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm running with XP Pro and IIS installed, including FP
2000 Server Extensions. You say installed and "applied" -
how do I apply them?
Is there a correct order to install IIS and FP - should I
uninstall and try again? I need to run under a local
server as I want to use ASP.

Hope you can help,

Ray
