Unable to create home network

I have two computers - both run WinXPPro SP1 - using DSL modem to wireless
router - desktop wired directly into LAN port on router - notebook using
built-in wireless card for connection. Both able to connect to internet fine.
However when trying to create home/office network, wizard states inability to
perform function - no explanation as to problem. What can I do?

Hi

If both computers are capable to connect correctly to the Internet.

Congratulations you already have a Network.

What you need now is to set Windows Network Sharing on each computer.

I would suggest reading the following page.

Read first the whole page (I.e. resist the urge to click on any of the
links).

Once you understand the general scope start to investigate the links that
concern your specific setting.
