Unable to create a new VPN or Dial Up connection in Win2K

Hi,

I am unable to make new connection from Network And Dial Up Connections in
Windows 2000. When I open the Make New Connection Wizard the option to create
VPN connection is dimmed. I tried to reinstalled the TCP/IP protocol but
still same problem. Need urgently a sloution. because in the past I have seen
this problem with other user as well and I had to reimage the machine. Thanks

Please make sure that the following services are started on your system
- Remote Access Connection Manager
- Remote Access Auto Connection Manager

" Remote Access Connection Manager" service was the culprit only but i could
not make it start. Finally i found lots of problem with the system so I opted
for the reimaging for the user's convenience. But I believe reinstalltion of
SP4 would have resolved the issue. Any idea ?
