Unable to choose recipients

I have looked in the default programs concerning this problem as Gary
Vandermolen has suggested and under the list of programs that comes up
I don't have a Windows Contacts in my list so what can I do now? Any
suggestions would be most appreciated.

My final suggestion to you yesterday was for you to upgrade to
Windows Live Mail.

Before you do that, try one other thing. Assuming you know how to
navigate and explore your hard drive, go to
C:\Users\yourname\
Do you see a folder named Contacts there? If so, right-click on it,
select Properties, then click the Location tab. What does it show for
location? Write it down, then if the reported location is anything other
than C:\Users\yourname\Contacts, click the 'Restore Default' button.
Restart Windows Mail and see if there is improvement.
