Unable to browse network

Hi.

I am wondering if anyone can help me. When I go to "My
network connections" and click on "view workgroup
computers" either it will wait for a minute and come up
that the workgroup is inaccessible, or it will come up
with a blank window, even though I can see my own
computer if I do a computer search. Other people on the
network don't have a problem - it seems to be just with
my computer. I can connect to the internet via my router
and ICQ works, its just the networking component that
isn't. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be
fantastic. Thanks.
