unable to add port

Windows XP Professional
When adding new port in Printer properties, the following
message is appeared:

Specified port cannot be added. The port is already
exists.

Please advise on the solution.

Well - what is the name of the port you're trying to add ? What is the list
of ports on your machine ? Any overlap here ?

The error messages are appeared on any names I entered.

List of ports:
LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, Another two local ports, two Standard
TCP/IP ports

Please confirm if I answer your questions correctly.
