hello,
i have a windows 2000 AD and i'm not able to access to my GPO.
when i try to get them (via the user AD console\properties\strategy) i get
the following message:
the domain controller for the group strategy operation is not available. you
can cancel this operation or try again using one of the following choices for
the domain controler:
- the one with the operation master for the pdc emulator
- the one used by the plugin component of active directory
- use any domain controller available
when i press ok with any of these options, i always get the following message:
error of GPO:
impossible to find a domain controller. maybe a strategy stops
you to select another domain controller.
Detail: the network path has'nt been found.
i checked the dns and everything is ok. above all that i'm on the
pdc emulator. i get the same problem with any other AD server.
i didn't find anything either on microsoft.com.
does someone has already encountered this problem and solved it ?
