Hello Team,

I use a Dell laptop running Win XP Pro as my home computer and have been
using the computer to connect to the interent using a broadband -cable modem
connection. Howerver recently I am unable to connect to the internet. When I
start up the computer I get the following message in a pop up window : "The
TCP/IP tranpsort is not installed".

I can open a IE browser but cannot access any site. Please help in resolving
the same. I also have Norton AV and ZoneLabs Pro firewall installed. I have
checked the internet connection options and the settings are set to
automatice (IP address, DNS etc) as has been earlier to the problem.

I look froward to your help.

Thanks

Hi RIM,
Try these steps first:
Open a run command and type in:
ipconfig /flushdns click [OK]
ipconfig /renew click [OK]
netsh winsock reset click [OK]
Reboot your machine, does it help?.
