My friend (I swear!) had a bootleg copy of XP Pro on her machine. She got a
real copy of XP home and installed it on a second partition in a dual-boot
setup. She has been working in the Home version, has installed several
programs, customized, etc. etc. etc. Problem is, the 2nd partition is only
about 10% of her hard disk space. She wants to dump the XP Pro installation
but that is the partition that controlls the dual-boot setup. I know the
cleanest way to do this would be to format and re-install the Home version,
but can it be done another way?
