Un-Installing Norton 2003

I've upgraded from 982nd to Windows XP - My norton isn't
working correctly. But when I go to uninstall it I get
this message ( Error 1606 Could not access network
location "\Documents ans Settings\Jeanne\Destop . How do
I fix this
