umount_boot_volume

Mr. TD

for no apparent reason my old hard drive wanted to give me a blue scree
error befor windows gets a chance to boot up.............system restore
safe mode...........none of it works. the major problem i have is 90% o
my filesa re stored in a folder on the desktop. i got a new HDD an
threw a copy of XP on it, connected the drive with the boot error aswe
and tried to access the desktop folder only to be denye
access..........

can anyone help ???

Help? Oh probably. Take ownership of it. That's probably what the problem
is.
