Ugrade Advisor Problem ( I know it's not a new Problem)

Windows Upgrade Avisor RC will not complete a scan on my computer. Its like
the Eveready Bunny. It just keeps running and running and never stops untill
I cancel the operation.

This message is to Microsoft. Do you really think I would upgrade my great
running XP sp2 OS to Vista when you can't even get Upgrade Advisor to do it's
job?

I think I will wait a couple of years for you to get the bugs out of the
Upgrade Advisor and your Vista RTM.

I've used Upgrade Advisor on both XP and Vista with no problems

I have the opposite problem; The advisor runs and apears to complete but
gives me no feedback. Just goes back to the start scan screen.

I am running XP with SP2. I have reinstalled and re loaded the advisor
several times.

What gives???
