Hi guys, I got my XP up and running but when updating/installing my drivers,
I messed up when installing the drivers for my USB to PCI (I think it was),
now my mouse and keyboard (both USB) don't respond. I also tried a PS2
mouse, but it only works for about 30 secs.

Is there anyway I can undo that change? I tried safe mode, but still only
gives me about 30 seconds. Frustrating! Any help greatly appreciated.

tks,
Steph

No such thing as a "USB to PCI" driver, since Windows XP supports USB and
PCI natively.

Sorry, I think it was the Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller

If windows is having trouble with something, it'll be listed in the System
Information Tool.
The fastest way to access it would be to click Start, the Run.
Type msinfo32 into the text box and hit the enter key.
Alternatively, you can find it listed under Start | All Programs
|Accessories | System Tools | System Information icon

In the System Information Tool's window, expand the Components tree in the
left pane and
click on Problem Devices.
Any detected problem devices will be listed in the right hand pane.
Once the list is populated, click File | Export and choose a location to
save to and a filename.
That will export the list of problem devices to a text file you can view on
another machine, if needed.
