I didn't know it at the time, but my boss took advantage of the same sale at
Frys and we both ended up with new big hard drives.
For me, I came home, broke the mirror, installed the drives, copied the data
over, rebuilt the RAID, and I was done. Kinda boring.
The boss (who is a Windows basher and Linux Guy/AIX Guy/Myth Guy/Ubuntu
Guy/etc.), on the other hand, wants to copy his data from one SATA drive to
the new one. He's been at it for two evenings (so far) and is still not able
to. His system crashes during the copy process if he copies more than one
file at once.
Obviously he has an issue somewhere and doesn't mind the time investment to
try keep his systems running. Oh well, I prefer to use a system instead of
debug it.
